Thanks to reader Donna Brubach for re-igniting the spirit of Earthling's Battle of the Blogs, an occasional Earthling feature that 's overdue for a comeback. The battle shows you some worthy blogs you might not have come across before and asks you to vote for which one should appear in the listings over there in the right column under "Recommended Sites." Yesterday Donna suggested Eye On Albuquerque be included in the next battle, and I'm going to work on a special local/hyperlocal blogs battle to put that to the test.
