Today, in case you didn’t know (and if you did, we’re surprised and happy for you!) is “Safer Internet Day.” Started ten years ago in 2003, and Irish company Webwise, the campaign asks people to reflect on current issues affecting internet users.
This year the campaign focuses on internet bullying, so take a moment and check in with the people in your life to let them know that the internet is a place where anyone can say anything (often without fear of being “caught” saying it), and that if they feel uncomfortable on any site, they can leave.
Happy Safer Internet Day!
