Welcome to the EarthLink Security Center Beta!

Welcome to the ESC (EarthLink Security Center) Blog and the EarthLink Security Center Beta! I am Tumara Jackson, Product Manager for the EarthLink Security Center, and over the next several weeks I will use this blog to communicate updates and answer feedback that you have about the ESC Beta. Your first question may be, “What is the EarthLink Security Center?” And the answer is simply this; the ESC is a one-stop shop for Internet security content, tools and software. Through our own threat research team and our partnerships with experts in the security industry we aim to provide you with accurate, timely and non-biased information to help you keep your PC safe and secure. I’d like to personally invite you review the ESC Beta and to send me your feedback by posting a comment to this blog or through Email. Here are just a few of the features of the site that you will definitely want to check out:

If you have been searching for a specific security software download try the FREE & PREMIUM SOFTWARE page and let me know what you think.

If you are concerned that your PC is not secure, run the FREE SECURITY CHECK which will analyze your PC for security holes and guide you through the steps improve the security on your PC. Please send your feedback on this exciting new tool (screenshot below). Note: currently you must use an IE browser to run the FREE SECURITY CHECK.

If you are just getting up to speed on PC security problems and solutions check out SECURITY 101 or any of our security videos. And if you have a question or problem that we have not addressed just let me know.
