I've answered this question enough to warrant adding it to our FAQ list now. There are a couple of pending comments with the question again, so I'll just answer it here for everyone and add it to our FAQ.

Click on "My Account" at the top of any EarthLink page. Log in there with your primary account (might be your only one if you have never done this). Then click on Profiles. Most accounts allow up to eight profiles (mailboxes) with no extra charge.

When I receive email that has been forwarded many times how do I delete the forwarded names and forward it to the person I want to forward it to?

When you forward a message, the subject line, the address lines, and the body are all fully editable just like a new message. Just click those areas and edit them.

Of the 8 free additional addresses, can I do away with email addresses that I no longer want to use?
How do I do that?

Click on My Account at the top of any page and then log in there. All of your existing profiles will be listed and can be managed or deleted from there.

I want to open both email addresses at the same time (in different windows) but it looks like I have to logout of 1 email address to login to the other email address. Is there any way to open both addresses at one time?

You can do it only if you use two different browsers, say one in IE and one in Firefox. But in the same browser, multiple windows still share the same cookies, and the cookie that maintains your logged-in state will contain only the last account you logged in. Different browsers will have separate cookies, and it will work.
